Terminology:

What is a Shortcode?
A Shortcode is a 5-6 digit number used to send and receive SMS and MMS messages on all cellular networks. Companies that use shortcodes are approved by the carriers to send text messages into their networks. When you become a HUF customer and/or member, all your messages will be delivered using our shortcode ‘65374’.

What is a Keyword?

Customers who opt-in to a (VIP) program do this by texting in a keyword provided by a HUF account. Once the keyword is sent, the customer has then opted-in to that given program and will immediately receive a text with that respective accounts offer.

For example, Text ‘hookup’ (keyword) to ‘65374’ (shortcode) to join the HUF mobile program. Congrats! Now you are officially a HUF member!

What is an Online Banner?

The HUF website showcases all current HUF accounts by displaying an online banner. The banner includes their respective logo, opt-in offer and any other pertinent information to their business.

What is a Text Blast?

A text blast is what we refer to as any text message sent out to your customer base.

How many characters are allowed per text blast?

All HUF text messages allow for 143 characters. “Reply stop to end”, is automatically added to the end of all text messages.

Is there a limit to the number of people allowed in a opt-in program?

There is no limit! Tell friends, family, neighbors, celebrities or anyone that owns a cell phone! Just give them your keyword and our shortcode and they are on their way!

Can I write my own text blasts OR does HUF have pre-designed texts?

Although many competitors out there only allow a customer to use their pre-designed/generic texts, we at HUF promote freedom of speech!! HUF allows each of our customers to write their own text. You have full control of what you text blast to your VIP’s!

How quickly are text blasts delivered?

Messages are delivered within a 10 minute max time period. This allows for our HUF security department to make sure all text blasts are safe and appropriate for our customers. Once we feel we have a solid HUF bond with you, corporate approval will no longer be necessary. All accounts are free to send text blasts with out big brother watching over them!

Is there a contract I need to sign to become a HUF account?

We have several plans to choose from, with discounts available for longer term contracts or multiple locations. All are designed to accommodate our client’s needs. This contract assures both you and HUF a long and happy mobile relationship!

What kind of support will I receive in regards to my account?

Each account is assigned a HUF representative. This rep can be contacted either via email or cell phone. We also have 24 hour support via our website at info@hookupfeed.com.
